For many people the area of the computer security is the fascinating term. Students will probably know a film with Sandra Bullock “The net”, where the identity of a young woman has been stolen. The computer security is one of the most important area in the world for individuals as well as communities or even states. In present, it is necessary to protect our personal information as the birth number, number of ID, passwords for the bank transactions etc. Computer security influence our everyday life. The lecture Cryptography will present some principles how to encrypt the information in a text. It will show the principles used hundred years ago in Rome to encrypt the secret dispatch as well as principles used today to protect our email communication. It is clear that this area tightly relates with numbers and math. Math is dispensable for encryption and cryptography. Math is dispensable to protect our lives.
